Future Reference Desk at Your Finger Tips

I sometimes wonder if our kids will grow up using Wikipedia, rather than dictionaries in school.

Already, I have considered having my laptop, rather than our large tome of a dictionary, at our kitchen table during Scrabble games. You know, because my skills are so daunting and my vocabulary so large, that CG feels the constant need to challenge--not very successfully might I add.

Hey, didn't I win the last game of Scrabble. Yeah, it was a lucky break, but still. I won. My first game of scrabble against you.

But on the topic of the posting, I agree, technology is changing how we research and how we find things. Kids need to be educated on how to judge the reliability of a reference site, because finding stuff now is so easy.
