Whirling Dervish Tail

Grendel Baby's portrait as taken by Princess Baby:

It's come to my attention of late that Princess Baby is quite a mouthful, so we'll call her PB for short. Plus, I like the irony of calling her PB while she absolutely abhors peanut butter. Yep, I know. Very un-American of her!

Check out our dog, Piper and tell me that she wasn't separated from Princess Baby at birth:

If Piper were a nicer dog (with other dogs), maybe you would see her more often on the Redmond / Issaquah border!

Oh whoa! Your pic is my Grendel. In fact, when we first got her, her ears even stood up like that until I rubbed them so much because they were so soft and silky that the cartilage broke down over the years--she didn't mind. We have seen so many of her doppelgangers. Now that she's gone, I get teary seeing them on the street. She was straight mutt saved from the pound, but we always thought she had a little Pitt Bull and a little Basenji in her. She absolutely hated other dogs except Seb (he's very sweet and submissive) and got in too many fight over the years so we stopped walking her. She got plenty of exercise though in a big backyard and chasing kids and Seb up stairs, then downstairs, then upstairs then downstairs. Thanks for reminding me of great memories! I'd love to see more about Piper...and if she loves sun like my Grendel, put sunscreen on her belly. Grendel ended up with skin cancer which metastasized. So not fair...
