Breakfast of Champions
I woke up after noon today. I don't recall ever having slept this long in my married life--well maybe on vacations and honeymoons, but we weren't really sleeping {wink, wink}.
So, I woke up just as bleary as I've felt all weekend. Yep, I'm a walking pain. Migraine gone. Gastrointestinal distress gone, but to be replaced by cramps and a cold sore. I haven't showered in over 48 hours. My hair is matted from being in bed. Did I mention I turn 35 next week? Did I mention we were supposed to have been camping this weekend on the beach in the Olympic forests! Arrrgh! I hate being sick. My self-pity is disgusting.
So, what did I do to improve my health? Why, the breakfast of champions! I had cold fried chicken, a pint glass of CG's best Spicy Bloody Mary, and super strong coffee. Yep, that'll make me all better.
