Nostalgic: Still Love This Speech
Makes more sense and has more meaning the more years I live.
Nostalgic!
Spurs me to start thinking of my dreams I had at college graduation.
Law school. Career. Healthy body. Healthy College Funds for Kids.
It also reminds me of what I have to be grateful for husband, children, and home.
What were your dreams? Your aspirations? The older you get, the farther away they seem, right? Are you still working toward those dreams?
And more importantly, do you use sunscreen?

my dreams and aspirations change as i grow up. the core idea doesn't change: "to change the world for the better" and yes, i have always been working towards my dreams =)

I should play this for my kids every single day...
Love it
Thank you for sharing it!!
I love that speech! I'm so glad you recycled it for us today. When I was a recent college grad I could only sense the wisdom in it- now -it's totally different.
I've given up on a few dreams - and my fairly tale turned into a horror flick for a time, but I can see the other side.
And it's never to late to dream a new dream. :)
Are you kiddin me? My fat arse ran for the first time this year, learned how to play the guitar last year and am now looking forward to the rest of my dreams. Spanish, skydiving, combat pistol expert, whatever. The kids are only 7 and 10, but...their time with me is half gone. So I think I'll just grow up with them instead of watching them grow up without me. :)
It's never too late. Never.
You go girl!
