I have a feeling the TSA searches are going to be a thing of the past soon. It's not only an infringement on our 4th Amendment, but I've seen more than enough articles of the most ludicrous searches - such as people in wheelchairs, mothers who had to be contained because they refused to have their milk scanned, and even children? How can the TSA seriously believe these are the people who are the ones we need to be scared of? And they go day by day, making up their own laws. Either it's going to be shut down, just because of how ridiculous it is, or there will be far too many lawsuits against the government for it to be worth their time.

these people are stupid, just go through the scanners instead of taking forever and then complaining about people who dont wanna be "manhandling" you anymore than you want to be. Also, what do u mean its ridiculous who they are scanning? Do you not realize that any terrorist can the idea to put something on a child, of course they would stoop to that level. They need to check everyone. By not doing so not only is it making greater danger, but also making false presumptions and prejudices about who will be checked. GROW UP ignorant America, if you're scared about one gazillionth of a percent of radiation from the scanner, you have to live with the fact theyre gonna pat you down. EVERYWHERE, because as we have seen, there is such thing as an UNDERWEAR bomber, and im sure in the future people will go to greater extremes than that.

Frankly, I feel it is an infringement on my rights and my dignity. Loved the SONG, though!!

I am still taking my family over 600 miles to my parent's house this Christmas, over four states, over the Rockie Mountains. How? We drive. Do it every year, once or twice a year. I am 38, and have only every flown once. It's possible to travel without flying. I refuse to give the airlines my money or hold me hostage on the runways, or TSA the opportunity to grope me, thank you very much.

I have no problem with being search if needed. I would much rather be search as well as anyone else who needs to be search than end up with a bomb on my plane... I hope they do not do away with these searches or i would not feel safe flying at all. I barely feel safe now, i couldn't imagine people not being searched. also, people's luggage wouldn't have to be checked if they followed the rules more carefully. I never worry about taking any soaps or lotions or anything like that. I can get that where it is that i am going. These searches are keeping our airlines safe, whether we like them or not.

my question is: what event occurred that proved the previous search guidelines incompetent? I haven't heard of anyone smuggling nail files or swiss army knives in their bra or jock strap. What happened that warrants this? I was searched for the first time this September, and it wasn't difficult to spot the victim selection (every other woman). 'Cause, you know, Asheville, North Carolina is a hotbed of angry female terrorists. Well, every other female.
I'll just go through the scanner, but I won't like it. And yes, I am aware that the TSA attendants aren't thrilled about feeling up sweaty, grungy people.

Hey Anonymous you stupid stupid little man. You don't worry about being searched but while you are being searched none, let me repeat this for your hard-headed little man, NONE of your baggage is being searched. All someone has to do is load a bag with explosives, check in and then leave the airport. BOOM your dead. Wrap that around your little mind.
